Wearing the Air3 Respirator

Never hold the respirator by the shroud. Grasp the main base while putting on and off.

Filter Removal and Replacement

Replace side A and Side B filter together. Magenta Labels contain expiration dates. Never use compressed air to clean filters. Removal and replacement is done without tools. Front section of filter contains an integrated filter for the outlet air. A spark arrestor is integrated into the filter.

Charging the Respirator

The USB-c charge port is located at the front of the respirator. A USB-c plug is included in the accessory kit if needed to keep debris out of the port. If charging while running, use an external battery and cable capable of 2A, or 5W. LED is red when the battery is low, pulses blue when charging, and is green when fully charged.

Shroud Replacement

Shroud Replacement requires no tools. Never lift respirator by the shroud, as the weight of the respirator may pull the shroud out of place.

Visor Replacement

Replacing the visor requires no tools. When installing visor, ensure it is pushed forward and down such that the visor is flush with the base. Push down on the visor while installing the filters to ensure the filter lip goes over the visor to lock in place.

Fairing Replacement

Fairing removal and replacement requires a small phillips screwdriver.

Low Flow Alarm Check

No tools required to check the low flow alarm. The Accessory kit includes a blower plug for performing this routine.

Headgear Replacement

Removing and replacing the headgear requires a small phillips screwdriver. The fabric on the headgear may be removed and cleaned without removing the headgear completely.
