Woodturning, Woodworking
Airborne wood chips and dust are common hazards. Air3’s high-efficiency filters, equivalent to P100, protect against wood dust and chips with over 99.97% efficiency. Air3 completely covers the head, keeping chips out of your hair, ears, and face. The polycarbonate ANSI Z87+ high impact visor wraps around the face, providing full head protection. Its excellent balance ensures hours of comfort while looking down at your workpiece. The all-in-one design and lack of hoses allow you to work comfortably and tangle-free, even while sitting. Air3 is quiet enough for phone calls; the silicone suspension and sound baffles help earbud mics pick up your voice for calls and commands. The ultra-wide field of view allows for face recognition to unlock your phone, making it easy to take calls, text, or watch videos without removing the respirator.
A microfiber cloth is recommended to clean the visor without scratching it.

Stone Cutting
Silica dust is generated during cutting and shaping of quartz, granite, concrete, and other stone materials. MicroClimate Air3 is NIOSH approved and was specifically tested to ensure protection against silica dust. Its Air3’s high-efficiency filters, equivalent to P100, provide at least 99.97% filtration efficiency, effectively trapping silica dust to reduce user exposure. The integrated polycarbonate visor protects the face from flying debris. Earplugs may be used if needed.
Air3’s comfort encourages longer wear, reducing silica dust exposure. As a loose-fitting PAPR, its performance is not affected by beards or strap adjustments, providing consistent protection for all users
Powder handling
Powder handling – Airborne powders from processing food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, powder metallurgy, 3D printing, and similar activities can pose inhalation risks. Air3’s high-efficiency filters, equivalent to P100, capture over 99.97% of particulates, keeping the inside of the respirator clean and comfortable. The respirator fully covers the head, so powder also stays out of your hair, ears, and face. Its all-in-one design has no hoses or belt-mounted blowers, allowing users to sit at a workstation or operate a forklift while wearing it.
The visor can be cleaned with compressed air. Air filters may be gently tapped to remove excess dust but never use compressed air to clean the filter itself, as this will damage it.
Warning: Some powders are combustible, and Air3 should not be used in these environments. Air3 is not intrinsically safe.
Powder Coat
Powder coatings use air as a carrier, generating a fine mist of particulates. Air3’s high-efficiency filters, equivalent to P100, protect against these fine particles with over 99.97% efficiency. Air3 completely covers the head, so powder also stays out of your hair, ears, and face. Users often work in unusual positions, crawling underneath and inside workpieces. Air3’s all-in-one design and lack of hoses allow this work to be done comfortably and without tangles. Its excellent balance also ensures comfort while looking up or down.

Sanding
Airborne Particulates from metal, fiberglass, carbon composites, plastics, paint, drywall, wood, concrete etc. Air3’s P100 filters protect from the fine particles with over 99.97% efficiency. Air3 completely covers the head, so dust also stays out of hair, ears, and face. Users often work in odd positions as they crawl underneath and inside work pieces. Air3’s all in one design and lack of hoses allows this work to be done comfortably, without tangles. It can be used with a creeper for laying down under a workpiece, and sitting down at a chair when working at a table. Its excellent balance also ensures comfort while looking in any direction.

Blasting
This process generates fine dust and rebounding blast media, requiring both face and respiratory protection. Air3 features a polycarbonate visor rated to ANSI Z87+ high impact, ensuring safety from rebounding debris. Disposable tear-offs are available to protect the visor and keep vision clear. For respiratory protection, Air3’s high-efficiency filters, equivalent to P100, remove at least 99.97% of airborne particles. It completely covers the head, so dust also stays out of your hair, ears, and face. Blasting often requires working underneath, inside, or on top of workpieces. Air3’s all-in-one design and lack of hoses allow this work to be done comfortably and without tangles. Its excellent balance also ensures comfort while looking up or down.

Grinding
This process generates high-velocity sparks, requiring both face and respiratory protection. Air3’s polycarbonate visor is rated ANSI Z87+ for high impact and wraps around the face, providing full head coverage. While the visor shields the face, onboard Air3’s high-efficiency filtration, equivalent to P100, protects the lungs, filtering over 99.97% of airborne particles. Air3’s filters feature integrated spark arrestors to help protect the filter from damage during grinding operations. Its excellent balance makes it easy to look down at the workspace without straining your neck.
Healthcare
Biological hazards, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites, pose risks to healthcare professionals and patients. Air3 purifies incoming air with high-efficiency filters, equivalent to P100, and exhaust air also passes through a filter. Air3 is the first to feature exhaust filtration-most other respirators have open exhaust ports beneath the chin. Communication with patients is enhanced by Air3’s ultra-wide field of view, the largest in the industry. The respirator is among the quietest available, thanks to its silicone suspension and internal baffles that reduce noise. For extended use, an external battery can be connected to the USB-C port to charge Air3 while running, allowing for unlimited runtime.
